SPOOKY SPECIAL EDITION

Throughout its short run (* celebrating 3 years of gothic centric drama on the 25th of October*)  TO BENIGHT & BEGUILE 's main focus has been on the complicated and often times terrifying romances of tortured heroine Evie Jordan-Lord. First was her tragic marriage to Sebastian Lord that left him a vampire and her a single mother with several stays in a sanitarium and more recently freshly freed from being buried alive. In between asylum stints, there was a short connection with Constable Christian Evans whose mind was brain-washed by Evie's therapist to use him as his own personal hitman. More recently, however, her paramour has been hero fisherman and back-from the dead Matthew Winterborn who miraculously survived a shipwreck only to recover with slight amnesia. But another love story is slowly emerging into view that seems to have a lasting impact on the Welshport canvas: that of the very unlikely pairing of former Lord family page Filipe Braga and novice sorceress Mary

FALL 2024: Glendale & Goodbye to a Legend

This year the ever-growing WebSoap Family was privileged to welcome back Jack Edington into the game with his fantastic series GLENDALE which is wrapping up SEASON ONE very soon!  With family drama and secrets galore, this English village with its quaint cottages and gossipy neighbors has given us a lot to talk about in this edition of THE PHIX SIX!  THE PHIX : Hi Jack! thank you so much for taking some time out so that we could chat about GLENDALE ! JUNE 2023: The Footprints of PRIDE

  Web-Serials, or Web-Soaps aren't easy to write despite how flawless the writers make it seem as you read each episode week to week. The stories are fast paced, gripping and can get you hooked by the very first episode/chapter. It takes a lot of skill to remember an entire history of not only one character but in most cases an entire town of people to keep the continuity of a story so that it can continue on and on much like their TV counterparts that last decades. The story tricks are the same: Keep them open ended (for the most part) allowing other stories to be interwoven; overlapping into the characters' lives so that once one crisis is done something is already warming on the back burner for the reader to get sucked into.
